Now that spring is in full bloom, I thought I’d share some dress ideas for outings you may have coming up. Whether you need some inspiration for a date night out or a spring wedding to attend, I have some ideas for you. I personally love wearing dresses, they are so easy to create a stylish look with just one item. Whether you like a form fitting silhouette or a baby doll style, here are some dress ideas for you to try this spring.

LBD For A Date Night Outside

You can never go wrong with a lbd (little black dress) for a date night out. The best part of spring is finally having the option to sit inside or outside at restaurants. I can easily picture myself in this dress on a date night with my husband enjoying a glass of wine while enjoying the warmer weather outside.

Accessories

This puff sleeve mini dress with eyelet detailing is the ultimate date night look. I wanted to keep my accessories more on the simple side and dark in palette. When I think of date night, I think of darker colors and not too many accessories. I paired my dress with lace up sandals and a black leather top handle bag.

Fun Print For A Spring Wedding

Spring is a popular season for weddings or showers. This look here is something I would totally wear as a guest to a spring or summer wedding. Don’t be afraid to try a printed dress. This printed polka dot corset style dress from Zara is so flattering and something I will be packing for vacation.

I had so much fun accessorizing this dress. Mermaidcore is a big trend this spring and summer so I wanted to try the trend out with my accessories. Trying out a new trend can sometimes be intimidating. To try a new trend out I recommend starting off small. This way I can add a touch of mermaidcore without wearing a full sequin or seashell printed dress. I chose a seashell choker that screams summer. This necklace gives a beach vibe without being over the top. Since I wanted to go with a beachy feel, I chose a structured wooden bag and tan lace up heels.

Florals For A Family Brunch Date

Nothing says spring more than florals. This floral wrap dress is so feminine and perfect for a family outing. This dress is great for a family brunch date or even a day trip to a winery. I think what I love most about this dress is that there is a matching one for my daughter. I am definitely matching with my daughter while I can. Having special pieces like this dress where we can match makes my heart so full and I truly treasure items like this one.

Accessories

For my accessories I chose a simple necklace with the initial of my daughter’s name (since this outfit is all about her). I also chose a pair of strappy cream heels. If you would prefer something more simple for a shoe, a slide on sandal could also pair very nicely. It is up to you if you would rather something more relaxed, or a bit more formal like my heels.
